Since we opened our doors in June 1985, Sun West Choice Healthcare and Rehab has provided the Valley with the finest Healthcare and Rehabilitation while giving our residents outstanding and exceptional service.

Sun West Choice offers a broad array of medical care and services designed to meet nearly every need, from basic physical, occupational and speech therapy to specialized sub-acute programs to promote recovery and memory care for those suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Our Porticos wing of private suites are designed to make our patients feel at home, providing a comfortable, warm feeling surrounded by the patient’s own accessories, decorations and personal items. In addition to 24/7 nursing care, this wing also offers Hospice care rooms to provide families with a quiet, supportive atmosphere.

Our Progressions wing houses a specialized sub-acute, post-hospital program that provides the ultimate in therapy, nursing rehabilitation and restorative care for many types of injuries and illnesses. Progressions offers individualized, goal-oriented rehabilitation programs to help patients meet their maximum functional ability.

Our Remembrance wing is a secured section which meets the special needs of our memory-impaired residents. Staffed by professional nurses and caregivers, this special unit offers safety and security, medical care and emotional support along with assistance in daily activities and support for families. Our goal is to make all our residents feel as though they are living as they would in their own home.

Our Solaria wing is unique in its level of service for pulmonary/ventilator and renal care. Under the direction of a pulmonologist, our Pulmonary/Ventilator program offers specialized care for patients experiencing acute/chronic respiratory disorders and who may require ventilator support, respiratory treatments, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP) or tracheotomy care. Our Renal Care program offers dialysis and specialized care for patients with acute or chronic renal failure or insufficiency and who may be experiencing multiple system complications under the direction of a Nephrologist.
